Light through history's first windows

Three stylistic periods have been added to the Time Tunnel - the Iron Age, Roman time and the Romanesque Middle Ages - allowing visitors to experience the light through history's first windows.

The history of plate glass for windows

Displayed in the museum are descriptions of the historical techniques that were used to produce plate glass for windows -from thick, translucent, green glass to the perfectly even float glass of today.

Special glass for windows

In the museum, there is a glass wall with 32 selected types of special glass that are explained through text and photos.
