News in the exhibition

VILLUM Window Collection has been fortunate to acquire two original Roman drinking glasses. The glasses are mouth-blown and date to around AD 300. In contrast, early Roman window glass from around same time was cast rather than blown.
The glasses can be viewed in the Roman section of the museums Time Tunnel, where visitors can experience the difference between the earliest mouth-blown glass and the first flat window glass.
