Earlier this year VILLUM Window Collection added a new artwork to the art collection. The newest addition is Paul Fischer's "Mrs. Dagny Fischer in the living room at Filippavej 8." from 1890.
The piece is described by Steffen Linvald in "Paul Fischer - Painters of Copenhagen", 1934:
"He has painted several pictures of this home in 1890 but none as picturesque as the portrait of young Mrs. Dagny Fischer. With a hat on her head, she looks out the living room window as if waiting for a sign to leave the house."
