The competition is held by the Instagram profile @villumwindowcollection, which is administered by the VKR Group. The competition is neither administered nor sponsored by Instagram.
To participate in the competition, you must follow the instructions on VILLUM Window Collection’s website. Participation is free.

The winner of the competition will be contacted directly by the museum either by e-mail or via Instagram.
From here, VILLUM Window Collection is referred to as VWCO.
- TYPE OF COMPETITION: The competition is open for everyone over the age of 18 and the prize is awarded to the individual participant.
- COMPETITION PERIOD: The competition takes place between September 1st and November 1st, 2019. Photos uploaded or tagged after the end of the competition period will not be taken into consideration. The winner will be announced on Friday November 15th, 2019 and will be contacted directly.
- QUALITY: VWCO must be able to obtain the photographs in high resolution (file size 2 MB – 10 MB).
- GEOGRAPHY: Everyone can participate regardless of geography – it is not a requirement that the photo is taken in Denmark.
- RESTRICTIONS REGARDING THE MOTIF: It is prohibited to upload/tag photos of people, who have not given consent to their photos being published. Uploading/tagging photos of people in private, precarious or shameful situations is also prohibited even if the photo is taken in a public space. It is your personal responsibility to ensure that the people in your photo have given their permission for you to share the photo. Any compensation claim received by VWCO will be forwarded to you directly.
- NUMBER OF PHOTOS: You can upload/tag as many photos for the competition as you please.
- USE: When you upload a photo to Instagram using the hashtag #MyDaylightMoment19 you automatically accept that the photo/photos can be used by VWCO in promoting the competition as well as in the following exhibition. VWCO promotion includes – but is not limited to: newsletters, publications on the internet as well as social media, project descriptions and inclusion in publications including third party press reports. If VWCO should want to use your photo in any other commercial connection, we will contact you in advance in order to obtain your permission. The copyright to your photos will at any time belong to you and the photos will be credited to you.
- COPYRIGHT: It is prohibited to upload/tag any photo/photos not taken by you. You must, at any time, be able to confirm that you are the creator of the photo/photos used to participate in the competition and that you have the unrestricted rights to use, and with that also publish the photos. In addition to that, you must also be able to document that the photos are free from third party rights and that every identifiable person in the photo/photos understands and accepts the use of the photo/photos in accordance with VWCO’s guidelines. Any compensation claim received by VWCO will be forwarded to you directly.
- RIGHT OF CANCELLATION: Anyone who has uploaded/tagged a photo will, at any time during the competition period, be able to withdraw their entry. In order to do so you must delete the hashtag #MyDaylightMoment19 from your photo/photos. After the end of the competition period the right to use the photo/photos will fall to VWCO, cf. the article above.
- ELIMINATION: VWCO reserves the right to eliminate offensive or by other means inappropriate photos. Photos with watermarks or text such as a date on the photo will be discarded for the sake of the exhibition. VWCO can discard any photo that does not comply with the terms and conditions of the competition.
- HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA: your name and your personal data will only be used in connection to the competition and the exhibition. Your name may be mentioned in connection to your photos. The winner will be contacted directly and published via VWCO’s platforms.
- If you do not wish to receive any following information your data will be deleted at the end of the exhibition period in the autumn of 2019. Your data will not be used for promotion of any other activities at VWCO or in commercial activities. Your personal data will be handled confidentially and will not be handed over to third parties.
