Can you capture the special summer light in a window? Share your picture of a summer window with #MySummerWindow on Instagram and join our photo competition!
The summer-photo competition #mysummerwindow is back. It’s time to grab your camera and capture that special summer light in a window. Through the competition we wish to cast a light on the summer’s special daylight and the diversity of windows. We want you to show us your perspective and interpretation of #mysummerwindow.
This year the competition runs from June 24th to August 24th. Enter the competition by sharing your summer window on Instagram using #mysummerwindow and @villumwindowcollection or send your photo by email to aer@vkr-holding.com. Participants from 2020 automatically join this years competition.
The prize for the winning photographer is a poster of the winning photo along with photo equipment with a value of 1,000 DKK. In addition the best photos will be featured in an exhibition at the museum. The winner will be announced on September 5th.

How it’s done
Capture the magical moment when summer is present in a window. Is the light framed in a special way? Does the window create interesting shadow effects? What happens in the transition between inside and outside?
Upload your picture using #MySummerWindow and @villumwindowcollection to join.
You must have an open profile on Instagram to participate in the competition.
Alternatively you can send your photo by email to aer@vkr-holding.com.
Remember to keep a copy of you photo in the highest resolution possible. This is required if you win and the photo needs to be enlarged.
Deadline and prize
Upload your photo no later than 24th August 2022. The winner of the competition will be made public on 5th September 2022. The best photos will be exhibited at VILLUM Window Collection in the Autumn of 2022.
The prize is a poster of the winning photo and photo equipment with a value of 1,000 DKK.
Terms and conditions for entering the competition
The competition is held on the Instagram profile @villumwindowcollection which is run by the VKR Group. The competition is in no way connected to, administered by or sponsored by Instagram.

You participate in the competition by following the instructions in the Instagram or Facebook post linking to these terms and conditions. Purchase is not a condition for participating in the competition.
By participating in the competition, you accept VILLUM Window Collection’s right to publish your Instagram or Facebook profile name along with the photo in connection to their exhibition in Søborg and on media that VILLUM Window Collection utilizes.
Deadline for submission of a photo is 24th August 2022, and the winner will be announced 5th September 2022.
The winner will be contacted by means of the information available of his or her Instagram or Facebook profile. This means that you must make sure that you’re tagged on Instagram or that you have received a message in your “Other” inbox on Facebook if your private e-mail or phone number isn’t available on your profile.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days of having been contacted by VILLUM Window Collection, the latter reserves the right to choose a different winner.
The information you may give by participating in the competition will not be given to third parties and will be used exclusively to contact you about the competition.
