Fully reversible side-hung window

A fully reversible side-hung window has an operable side-hung sash that can turn 180 degrees on a vertical axis. This type of window is very common in skyscrapers, as it allows both sides of the glass to be cleaned from within.

The fully reversible side-hung window was developed in 1930.
