The winner of VILLUM Window Collection and the Danish Architecture Centre's photo contest has been found. See who won the photo contest #MyDaylightMoment.

A lot of unique and different images of daylight moments have been uploaded during the competition. Everything from warm sunlight in living rooms and workplaces to contrasting motifs of light in public buildings - new and old.

The jury consisted of Dorthe Bech-Nielsen, architect and manager of VILLUM Window Collection and Eva Kirstine Fabricius, senior project manager at the Danish Architecture Centre. They have now selected the winning photo and a collection of pictures that will be displayed at VILLUM Window Collection.

Visit VILLUM Window Collection and enjoy the selected daylight moments from 17 November.

Og vinderen er ...

"The subject is familiar, homely and sensuous, and most will be able to recall an experience of a similar daylight moment; an open window, a breeze in the shade and sunlight, which makes shadow play. The photographer has not just taken a picture of a window, but a picture of light, air and views - all neatly a picture of the window provides.

The viewer can alternately focus on the mood of the photograph whole and of photography detail; substance ease mullions profiling and the Dannebrog window glimpsed outside" said the jury.

Maj Manczak about her photo: "Through the picture, I try to capture the mood and the wonderful light in our home at the Black Horse - a listed building in Vesterbro, where I live with my two sons. We have five windows in the living room. The light poures in from three sides and throwing the most amazing shade all day and night from the lights in the courtyard.

The location and number of windows in the living room gives a feeling of plenty of light and air even though we are in the middle of Copenhagen. The open window allows you to let your thoughts wander ... dreams, travel, fly to distant lands or just go out in the yard and enjoy the spring ".
