VILLUM Window Collection is nominated for the Nordic Lighting Design Award 2016.

 

This fall ten projects from five Nordic countries will be competing for the Nordic Lighting Award 2016. As the winner of the Danish Lighting Design Award 2015, VILLUM Window Collection will be representing Denmark at the award ceremony alongside with Novo Nordisk’s new headquarter in Bagsværd, the winner of the Danish Lighting Design Award 2014. 

The Nordic Lighting Design Award takes place October 10th 2016 in the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Tampere, Tampere, Finland
Akratorg, Akranes, Iceland
Brigde over Fífughvammsvegur, Iceland
The Annex of the Royal Library, Stockholm, Sweden
Lund Universitet, Lux Campus, Sweden

The Nordic Light Committee consists of the lighting organisations Dansk Center for Lys in Denmark, Suomen Valoteknillinen Seura in Finland, Ljóstæknifélag Ísland in Iceland, Lyskultur in Norway and Belysningsbranschen in Sweden. The award is handed out biannually and the purpose is to highlight and celebrate the special characteristics of Nordic lighting design.
